Royston based Becky has been singing for as long as she can remember. Raised on her dad’s eclectic record collection, her voice is shaped by the timeless styles of The Beatles and Elvis, the harmonies of The Civil Wars, and the energy of Green Day and Fall Out Boy. From school choirs to university showcases and backing vocals for local bands, Becky now takes centre stage with Echo Nights. Her powerful yet nuanced vocals bring the band's diverse setlist to life.
Hailing from a small village near Budapest and now based in Hitchin, Dan has been behind the kit for over 12 years. His drumming roots lie deep in punk and alternative rock, shaped by influences like Blink-182, Green Day, Linkin Park, Nirvana, and even The Cinematic Orchestra. Over the years, Dan’s played everything from raw punk in Hungary to indie originals and covers in the UK, with bands like Background Noise, Unicorn, Antisocial, Unknown Pilots, and now Echo Nights. Whether it's high-energy beats or subtle rhythms, Dan brings a powerhouse presence to every performance.
With over 30 years of bass playing under his belt, Jim is the rhythmic glue of Echo Nights. A St. Albans native, his musical tastes span from classic rock and funk to punk and even classical influences like Bach and Leo Brouwer. He’s played in signed bands, originals outfits, and cover collectives—Choker, Dirt Monkey, Faux Rebels, and So Luna, to name a few. Jim’s groove-driven bass lines and backing vocals add depth and swagger to every track the band plays.
Miles has been playing guitar since he was 14, dabbling in keys here and there too. His influences are all over the map—from Bicep and Nick Cave to Blink-182 and Arctic Monkeys—and it shows in his versatile playing. After growing up in the Peak District, he now calls Hitchin home. He’s been in a few originals bands like Kind Hearted Thieves and Unknown Pilots, but with Echo Nights, he’s all about throwing in those forgotten gems and guaranteed floor-fillers. Add in some vocals and you’ve got the full package.
Russ has been picking up the guitar on and off since his school days, and it shows. Influenced by everything from Metallica and The Offspring to The Black Keys and Foals, he brings a mix of grit and groove to the band’s sound. While he likes to pretend he's lived the high life in Los Angeles, playing for big rock bands, he’s actually a Hemel Hempstead local and Echo Nights is the only band for him. Expect big riffs, tasty tones, and a serious love for live music.
